Boots has just announced an exciting recycling scheme in partnership with No7 that will help customers ethically dispose of beauty and health products.

In total, over 25 Boots stores in the UK will launch the initiative today.

The new scheme encourages Boots customers to recycle their empty products in store (even if they were purchased elsewhere.

In exchange for empty goods, customers will be awarded 500 Boots Advantage Card Points for every five products recycled.  However, Advantage Card Points will be capped at 500 per day, even if you return more than five empties.

In addition, Boots are the first store to implement innovative Scan2Recycle technology which allows customers to track how much packaging they have recycled.

To track your progress, you’ll simply have to scan your empty products on phone via the Boots Scan2Recycle website. Once you’ve scanned them simply pop along to your nearest recycling point at any Boots store that is participating in the scheme.
