There are hundreds of recommended beauty products for your wedding day, however, honeymoon beauty can often be overlooked. We’ve listed our packing must-haves to keep you looking and feeling great whatever the weather and scenery.

Suncream (regardless of location!)

Whether you and your significant other are jetting off to the Maldives for a beach getaway or heading to your favourite European city one thing you cannot afford to overlook is suncream. Thankfully more and more women are being educated about the need for SPF in all weathers and climates so you may already have a trusty staple in your make-up bag. However, if you don’t regardless of how long you plan to spend outside, applying generously in the morning and reapplying when necessary will keep your skin hydrated, dewy and more importantly safe from harmful UV rays (that you may not be able to see). We can’t get enough of La Roche Posay’s Anthelios 50+ (£17.50) and never leave the house without a mini version. Non greasy, non comedogenic, this formula won’t leave a white cast and is in a high enough factor to stay protected for all skin types and tones.

A waterproof mascara

If your honeymoon involves blitzing about on a jet ski or even one romantic and emotional dinner you’ll want to grab a waterproof mascara. Lots of newlyweds opt for a no make-up, make-up look when on their honeymoon and a bb or cc cream paired with a long-lasting mascara is a great start for a holiday glow.

We love the Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof formula (£22) it’s super water resistant but will still lift easily with a good oil-based cleansing balm such as Clinique’s Take The Day Off.

A Radiant Base

Practical and beautiful – we love a fresh CC cream when on holiday especially when our skin is glowing. CC creams have come on a long way in the last few years and instead of only being a viable option for those with perfect skin, some brands have perfected adequate coverage with a sheer finish. A CC cream instead of your regular foundation can feel more lightweight, be easier to reapply (even with fingertips), and is perfect for those who don’t want to go completely bare-faced. Lots of CC cream formulas also boast an spf factor and although it is often not high enough on its own, it’s great to have added sun protection. We can’t get enough of IT Cosmetics (£32) formula which comes in factor 50 and is available in 12 versatile shades.

Luxury Lip Balm

A glossy and nourishing on the go treat. In keeping with a fresh and natural look, a tinted lip balm looks great whilst moisturising the lips in all weathers. A gorgeous addition to your make-up bag in the evening time on sun-kissed lips. We love NARS balms, (£23) particularly the sheer pink and golden shimmer shade Orgasm.

Shimmery Skin

Add a beautiful shimmer and glow to your legs, arms and decolletage with an illuminating serum. Whether you love a lotion or an oil a body shimmer can add colour and a radiant glow to your bodies complexion. We couldn’t live without Vita Liberata’s Body Blur (£29.50) with it’s imperfection coverage and bronze boost.
