Do I need to use my own kit?
Yes. All of our therapists are required to provide and use their own equipment and products for each appointment. For applicable treatments such as LVL’s and waxing, therapists are required to bring a massage bed with them.
Do I need to use any particular brands?
We are passionate about providing our customers with the most premium and professional products on the market. For gel nails we have an approved list of systems and formulas which include Shellac, Gelish, GelBottleInc and OPI Gel Color.

Will I need my own insurance?
Yes.
Do I have to work a certain number of hours per week or month?
Not at all. All of our technicians are completely freelance and you decide how little or often you would like to work. Whether you’d like to commit full time and take advantage of all the associated benefits or simply top up a salon salary, we accept either approach.
Do I need to wear a uniform?
Currently we do not have a set uniform. However, all appointments should be completed wearing smart, black clothing for upmost professionalism.
Do I have to accept every booking?
Due to the freelance nature of Bloom you are not obliged to accept every booking that comes your way. If you would like to turn down a booking don’t worry, simply decline the request and it will be reallocated.
How much does Bloom cost?
Registering with Bloom, reaching new clients and boosting your portfolio is free, we simply take a small percentage from each booking to cover our administration and ongoing software costs.
