Set within one of the region’s finest red-brick, five-star hotels, Rockliffe Hall’s spa offers a superior range of facilities and picture-perfect backdrops.  In addition to thermal bathing suites including a tepidarium (think Roman Baths), sauna and hydropool guests can unwind on sound-wave therapy beds.

With luxurious industry staples such as Neom and Caudalie forming the spa’s treatment offering, the quality of products and therapist experience make for an unrivalled combination.

The Spa Facilities

Perhaps the most Insta famous capture at Rockliffe is the brand’s Spa Garden which boasts an infinity edged outdoor pool, a dedicated concierge and an indoor relaxation area with luscious garden views.

The on site changing rooms are practical and spacious with large wooden key-code lockers and essentials such as a spinner and plastic bags for your damp swimming costume. The main 20 metre pool area is airy and bright, with a window overlooking the immaculate gardens. The pool area has loungers and chairs around the edge and a shallower children’s pool just off to the side. A wooden sauna that seats up to 15 people, as well as a caldarium that emits hot steam infused with aromatic oils, can also be found in the pool space. Delicious fresh smoothies and juices are also available at the bar.

A child free thermal area includes a stunning hydrotherapy pool with hot tubs and tiled loungers. The comfortable loungers face floor-to-ceiling windows which overlook the manicured grounds.

The Spa Garden can be booked in two hourly slots and hosts a maximum of 16 people for an additional fee on top of your existing package. A central water and fire sculpture are surrounded by numerous cosy lounging beds. Refreshments throughout the Spa Garden include teas, coffees, flavoured waters and fresh fruit.

The outdoor infinity pool has long air beds running along the entire length and the surrounding terrace has more loungers which make for the perfect suntrap for sunbathing.

Signature Treatments

The brands signature treatments, exclusive to Rockliffe Hall include 90 minutes of pure indulgence from the award winning french brand Caudalie which harnesses skin loving grape and vine extracts within their products.

Low lit treatment rooms are a relaxing space for the initial invigorating back scrub, deep tissues massage and a bespoke facial during which your therapist will use products suitable for your skin type and condition. A heavenly scalp massage ends a beautifully destressing medley of treatments and there’s no surprise why this package is a firm favourite amongst regulars.

The extensive treatment menu at Rockliffe Hall is comprised of Caudalie facials,  NEOM spa rituals, and mums to be pampering. In addition to relaxing treatments, clients can finalise their beauty regime with a high shine mani-pedi.

Food Facts

If you’re attending Rockliffe for a spa day, you’ll eat in the hotel’s Brasserie which is conveniently located just above the spa facilities. A very chilled atmosphere, diners often opt to eat within their robes.

Depending on your spa package you may be entitled to a two-course lunch. As a general guide, there are steak, chicken, fish and vegetarian options and tasty dairy light bites and salads.

If you decide to go all out with an overnight stay, the Orangery restaurant is a sophisticated and tasteful space to enjoy multiple beautiful courses, as you may expect this is significantly more dressy than the Brasserie.
